OXFORD BASED COMMUNITY
ABOUT
Calisthenics is a form of physical activity and sport that utilises body weight as resistance for strength training and fitness.
The closure of gyms in 2020 due to the Covid-19 lockdown saw the rise of calisthenics communities worldwide. What started as a handful of individuals has now grown into a tight community that would like to share the benefits of outdoor training.
OUR MISSION
Calisthenic parks have positive impacts on local communities. By creating supportive spaces for people to gather together, exercise, have fun, and work toward common goals, we can all connect. However, despite its popularity, outdoor calisthenics parks often rely on grassroots demand. We at Cali in the Park hope to raise funds through 1-2-1 sessions and classes to invest in the planning and installation of a fully equipped outdoor gym.
